Hi! Thank you for stopping by to read & learn more about the heart and passion behind our blog. My husband and I love to share, create and empower people to become their best. Over the years, both of us have held several different roles in our career fields. Now we are seeking to expand and share in a little different way.
Our goal and purpose behind this blog is to encourage, engage, empower and inspire others.
Here’s a little bit about both of us:
~Lori~
I have been in education for over 10 years teaching 3rd grade, 1st grade and now Pre-K! I have also been an Intervention Specialist for students struggling in academic subjects and some behavior interventions as well as homeschooling our children before returning back to work as a classroom teacher! (Homeschooling was a very rewarding season for our family!) Teaching in early/elementary education makes me alive and motivated to create productive, thriving young citizens in and out of the classroom.

Hello, Mark here. In agreement with Lori, I share with her the passion and desire to encourage daily lives, empower those around me to do their personal best with the talents and skills God gave them while keeping them engaged on the task at hand, and to motivate and inspire them to go for their dreams to make them a reality. Lori and I compliment each other in that she is the refiner of my visionary thoughts and ideas that God gives me. Most of my past 20 years of “work” has been in sales and marketing including running my own auto detailing business for many years. However, I believe that it is time for me to shift gears and focus on doing what I love most which is sharing the truth of who I am, my identity is in Him (Eph. 1:7). I want to encourage all to see the same. I hope that you will join us on our journey to exploring many different areas of life in our walk with Christ: marriage, family, work, the Word, children, love, relationships, and loss as well because it is part of the journey. I hope that you have a blast as we share our family experiences and ways to live more Christ-focused in our daily lives.
